Hi, I’m Sarah.

I’ve spent over a decade designing digital experiences for users. My background spans web design, illustration, interaction design, visual design, and of course, UX design. I’ve worked with big names like Chili’s, Best Buy, and United Airlines. I’ve also happily worked with small names, too. Most recently I’ve been at Tendril (now Uplight) researching and designing for the next generation of smart home technology as a means to automated energy efficiency.

As a UX designer working in the product space, my goal is to keep our product teams close to the user, to empathize with their needs and to design solutions that solve real problems. I help bring intention to product decisions using research and user-centered methods and show companies that empowering their users is the best competitive advantage they could have.

In my non-professional life you can find me creating recipes, exploring the outdoors and enjoying Colorado living.

Fun fact: I’ve recently just returned from a 3-month #vanlife adventure in a DIY-converted Ford Transit with my husband and our cat. Don’t worry, the cat was happy.
